Equipment Grid Icons/Menu Options
Icons located at the top of the equipment grid (Fig A) are also accessible via right click menu options (Fig B). These options allow the user to add/manipulate items on the Equipment Grid of a booking. <more information>

Profit Margin Equipment Grid Preferences
Accessible from the Equipment Grid, users can set preferences to suit their RentalPoint use. Quickly enable drag and drop of equipment OR click 
to set/confirm all preferences available
Multi User Access & Heading Locks
The Equipment Grid supports multi-user access, with restrictions outlined below.
- All headings will be collapsed on opening of the equipment tab as illustrated in Fig 1 below.
- The
icon to the left of each heading expands and locks the heading for exclusive editing by the user. - The first user to open the booking has exclusive access to the equipment before the 1st heading

Heading Locks
- Individual users have exclusive access to the heading they are editing including all equipment under that heading.
- Expand and lock any heading for editing via the
icon to the left of each heading - Locked headings are identified with
to the right of the heading (Fig A below) - Headings available for editing (i.e. currently unlocked) show a blank icon
to the right of the heading (Fig B below) - Release the heading lock by collapsing the heading via the
icon to the left of the heading (Fig C below)
- Expand and lock any heading for editing via the
icon to the left of each heading

icon to the left of the heading (Fig C below) Pricing will reflect the users current view only; for example if user A opens the booking and adds equipment to a heading, then collapses (saving the equipment in the heading), any resulting price change will not be reflected to user B. To see the modified pricing from multi-user edits, user would have to save, close then re-open the booking.
Equipment Grid Parameters
Accessible via Setup-->Parameters-->Operational Parameters:

| 44 | Enable Client Facing and Warehouse Active/Mute | Allow users to hide/display equipment items on both client facing and warehouse facing documents. Items hidden from warehouse will not appear in the checkout window. Items hidden from client will have no cost and will not affect booking price. |
| 118 | Display Out and In Columns in Equipment Grid | If enabled, the qty checked out and returned for each item will display in the equipment grid of the booking. |
| 129 | Equipment Search is Location Sensitive | Controls products displayed on the equipment treeview of the booking. If set to YES, equipment displayed in the treeview of the booking tab will be listed by location. Only equipment with quantities in the specified location will be displayed. |
| 49 | Equipment Sequence in Equipment Tab of Booking | Set equipment sequence to Treeview or 'as user enters it'. When equipment is added to the grid, it will be displayed in the order chosen unless overridden by user preferences in the Equpment Grid settings. |
