Undo Checkout

Undo picked or checked out items to a booking using this option.   

Access the Menu Option

Highlight the booking on the Bookings Control Panel, then access the undo option from the  menu at the top of the grid, or from the right click menu ....


Click the chevron to display all 'undo' options

 Scan options available for RentalPoint3 include keyboard wedge, bluetooth and in device camera for barcode or QR Code scanning

Undo Pick Session

Use this option to undo all pick/prep sessions NOT already checked out to the booking

Click  to proceed 

Scan Items to Undo


 Displays a list of checked out items 

 Filters products by Group Code

 Displays list of consolidated items

 Allows entry of non tracked quantity to undo

Scan or enter the barcodes of the items you wish to undo

Highlight any non tracked gear in the window, then click  to access the Undo Qty column

Enter non tracked qty to undo for each item, then click


Once all items are scanned for undo, click 

Print documents as needed OR click  to save the session (check the box to save error list if needed)

Undo all Sessions

The booking status will be set back to 'Booked' and all records of items checked out to the booking will be removed.  This option is useful if the wrong booking has been checked out. A warning will be posted before proceeding....

 Cancel the undo checkout request to leave the checkout as is

Save the undo request to complete the booking update


A further option is provided to preserve any completed pick sessions or erase all pick and checkout history, setting the booking back to BOOKED status.  Choose clear to clear all history OR restore to preserve Pick history.

Extra Considerations

On a multi-location system, if the 'undo' operation is requested from a different location than the booking, the user will be prompted to confirm the return location for any sales items as follows....


For bookings that have been 'final returned', the user is not permitted to undo checkout
